Heavy rains flood our local middle school

April and May brings heavy spring flooding in our area. This is the time of year where we see a lot of storms with heavy rain and wind damage.

SERVPRO of Sherman/Denison technician's were contacted by the principal at one of our middle schools in our Denison area due to very heavy rains and flooding overnight.

Major rains caused the water to rise and come up through a pipe and disperse muddy water and sewage material throughout the halls, classrooms and library.

Many classrooms, halls and library were saturated in a muddy sewage residue from the rising water.

Our crews spent several hours extracting  the muddy water throughout the building for several hours and finally reached the point of pulling cove base and setting the drying equipment. 

The school was allowed to reopen the very next day. Needless to say the Teachers and the Staff were very appreciative for our hard work.
